Feedback allows me to receive a non-biased 3rd person perspective of my work and informs me on what I’m doing right and wrong and enables me to see how far behind I am or if I’m not doing enough research/idea development etc.
This checklist was created on the 8th May 2019. I was informed that my blog itself was not interesting to look at because I hadn’t yet used enough images and the theme and layout that I had chosen was clunky and boring. I began to evaluate this list in my sketchbook and immediately began improving my blog with a new theme and added feature images at the top of my posts. I then began to re-write all of my forms and schedules to the standard set by the online guide on the VLE which I hadn’t yet looked at but admittedly I should have and was disappointed that I hadn’t yet checked.
I was informed that my idea proposed in my brief was too narrow and that I was fixating too much on one idea that I had in my head and that I should be more open-minded in my approach. Thus meaning I had to do more research on contemporary artists and include more images in previous research that I had already conducted.
